About the Job

Your skills and experience could be critical for our Powder River Industries, LLC team in supporting the Federal Government. As a member of our team, you gain knowledge in IT systems and help us support the (USACE) RITS contract. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and developers and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously. They should be able to develop and successfully execute detailed test plans, procedures, and scenarios for unit, process, function, system integration, acceptance, and regression testing. Perform analysis of requirements and provide feedback regarding requirements testability. Draft scenarios, and operate test tools that verify system system requirements. Follow software development methodologies and maintain softare development standards and procedures. Validate and verify the implementation of infrastructure and application security features. Work within the full-lifecycle software development including analyzing, designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting applications. Ensure new software modifications meet requirements and operate satisfactorily in the system environment. Document the successes and failures of all executed test procedures and write clear, concise and effective written correspondence, test plans and results, procedures and scenarios in accordance with customer policies. 


  • Active TS/SCI

  • Minimum 3+ years of software/application testing

  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing automated test scripts and Selenium

  • Demonstrated experience conducting end-to-end testing of large or complex information systems

  • Demonstrated experience writing and executing test plans and scripts

  • Experience validating and verifying application and infrastructure requirements for performance, stability, and efficiency

  • Demonstrated experience using an issue tracking tool, such as JIRA

  • Demonstrated experience exhibiting communication skills (listening, verbal, written, and presentation/briefing)
